I hold a master’s degree in clinical social work from UT Austin. I have provided therapy at the UT Counseling and Mental Health Center, Buckner Villas Retirement Community, and Renaissance-Austin. I came to this field after a successful career as a certified public accountant. In my work with clients, I bring to bear wisdom culled over a lifetime of varied experiences, personal and professional.

Originally from Boston, I have lived and worked in Mexico and speak Spanish fluently. I moved to Texas in 2001. When not practicing psychotherapy, I spend my time caring for my children and pets, reading, playing the guitar, practicing yoga, playing basketball, and rooting for the Boston Red Sox.

"Courage originally meant to speak one's mind by telling all one's heart."
