In reality, college can be one of the most difficult chapters in our lives. The lack of structure, the pressure of expectations, the myriad distractions, the access to mind altering substances, the isolation from friends and family back home, and the uncertainty about what will follow after graduation, can all extract a high price on our emotional wellbeing.
I spent a year providing therapy to graduate and undergraduate students at the UT Counseling and Mental Health Center. There I discovered that I love working with college students, and that they generally respond well to my approach to treatment.
