“If you don’t know where you are going, you’ll end up someplace else.”

About Sean Berkley, LCSW
I hold a master’s degree in clinical social work from UT Austin and an MBA from Northeastern University in Boston. I have provided therapy at the UT Counseling and Mental Health Center, Louis Laves-Webb & Associates, Buckner Villas, and Renaissance-Austin. In my work with clients, I bring to bear wisdom culled over a lifetime of varied experiences, both personal and professional.
As an adult, I have done the hard work to heal old wounds, change unhelpful patterns, and experience peace, intimacy, and joy. I don’t have all the answers, but I find it immensely gratifying to support others as they make similar journeys of growth, healing, and happiness.
Originally from Boston, I have lived and worked in Mexico and speak Spanish fluently. I moved to Texas in 2001. I spend my free time caring for my children and pets, reading, practicing yoga and mindfulness, playing basketball, and rooting for the Boston Red Sox.
